Clouds over farm in Hoshangabad

Hoshangabad district which took its name from the head quarters town Hoshangabad which was founded by "Sultan Hushang Shah Gori", the second king of Mandu (Malwa) in ealry 15th century. District starts adjacent to  Bhopal but is big in its length, It lies in the central Narmada Valley and on the northern fringe of the Satpura Plateau. In shape, it is an irregular strip elongated along the southern banks of Narmda river. Its greatest length from south-east to north-east is 160 kms.

The district was 'over blessed' with late monsoon and also had witnessed floods in its few parts. The picture is of last week when clouds shadow over a farm in the district in parts adjacent to Bhopal, giving it a picturesque look, hence thought share it on the blog !
